The country of origin of a sample can be viewed using the sample selection screen. In addition, the previous column specifies the location of the sample. This value can refer to a town, a village or a personalized label defined by the submitter.

If you need more accurate information (as latitude and longitude) you only need to click on the name of the sample to access the sample details. One of the sections will show the country, location, latitude and longitude and an interactive map showing the exact position of the sample.

In order to modify the geographical position (if you have the right permissions) you need to click on the 'Modify Sample' button. There you can assign a new location to the sample or click on the 'Manage Locations' button to create a new one just pinpointing the sample on the map.
